여러분 안녕하세요. 

저는 대한민국의 평범한 학생입니다. 전쟁으로 고통받고 있는 우크라이나 국민들께 조금이라도 힘이 되고자 동영상을 찍게 되었습니다.

저희 학교, 특히 역사와 국제 문화 이해 시간에 전쟁이 얼마나 혹독하고 두려운 것인지 거듭 배워왔습니다. 이렇게 교과서 상에서만 존재할 것 같았던 전쟁이 민주주의가 존재하고, 인권이 존중되고 개인의 삶을 중요시 여기는 21세기에 일어날 것이라는 것은 정말 상상도 못한 일이었습니다. 

저는 우크라이나를 위해 적은 금액일지라도 기부를 하기로 결심하였습니다. 

저와 동생은 기부 금액에 의미있는 메세지를 담고자 고민했고, 저는 51,630원, 제 동생은 43,190원을 기부하였습니다. 이 기부 금액의 뜻은 대한민국 전 국민 5,163만 명이 우크라이나 전국민 4,319만 명을 응원하는다는 의미를 담았습니다. 

또한 이 기부금은 저에게 의미가 큽니다. 이유는 영어 스피치 콘테스트에서 받은 장학금이기 때문입니다. 

이 대회 원고에는 우리의 자주권(자율성)이 빼았겼을 때의 역사에 대한 메세지를 담았었는데, 이와 우크라이나가 현재 비슷한 상황이라고 생각이 돼 더 의미가 있는 것 같습니다.

며칠 전, '세계평화 염원 특별 콘서트'에 방문하였을 때, 악기들의 울림이 저의 평화를 위한 마음 또한 울렸습니다. 

평범한 삶이 어쩌면 가장 소중한걸지도 모릅니다. 이번 이슈로 인해 많은 사람들은 매일 매일의 평범한 삶이 가장 소중하다는 것을 알게 되었습니다. 저는 우크라나가 평범한 삶으로 돌아가길 바라며, 학교도, 일도 평범하게 다니고, 가족과 친구들과 보내는 평범한 시간을 갖을 수 있길 바랍니다.

대한민국의 평범한 생활을 하고 있는 학생이, 우크라이나에 평범한 삶이 다시 돌아오길 바랍니다.

Hello everyone.

I am the normal student on South Korea.

I am filming this video to help Ukraine and Ukrainian citizens who are suffering because of the war. 

On our school, especially in history and international culture's class, we learned about harshness and fearfulness of war. We had no idea, nor could we have imagined, that the war in our textbook turn to be real, on the 21th century, the globe with democracy, human rights, and importance of individual life. 

So, I decided to donate money for Ukrane even it is little amount. As trying to put meaningful message on amount of the money we donate, I contribute 51,690won, and my brother, 43,190won. Which means total number of 51million 630thousand Korean citizen is having a support back on the total of 43million 190thousand Ukrane citizen.  

Additionally, this money was not just appear out of nowhere, it was a prize for a speaking contest I had delivered the message related with our Korea's history during loss of national's autonomy. Also Ukrane under the similiar situation, I wanted to convey the message that soon they could overcome this situation. 

After we attended to the 'special concert for world peace' on few days ago, as the harmony of muscial instrument echoed in hall, it touch our heart. The heart for world peace.  

Often the normal life could be precious. Because by this issue, many people learned that normal everyday life is most precious. We sincerely hope for Ukrane to come back to normal life, attending school as normal, working as normal, and spending time with family and friends as normal.

Speaking as normal students in Korea, having a normal life, I am hoping the Ukraine will return to normalcy.
